Sage and Zorrobe Logo

Me and my friend have been toying around with a long forgotten franchise that has no history, no record, and no current licenses out on it.  This franchise is called Sage and Zorrobe, and I figured I'd take a stab at giving them a logo.  In the old iteration preferred by MDT, they are a couple of space roving, vintage-futuristic style superheroes with body suits and capes.  The version I cooked up is a little more modern, takes place in present day where Sage is a retired CIA agent in Los Angeles who's prime was in the 1980's and Zorrobe is an investigative reporter who ends up getting caught up with him.

To make a sort of compromise between the two and create a logo straight out of the era of VHS tapes.

Bold shiny gold, yet worn text shows off Sage's name, like a 1980's action hero, with that funky Miami Vice esque font showing off the "and", finishing with a vintage style no nonsense font with what appears to be a laser running through it reads off Zorrobe's name.  To top it all off I made the image a transparency so it can be place on top of just about any image.
