Here I Am

Well, it's been over a year since I moved to Texas, and I finally have a job.  I think.  Hard to tell, because my boss is this short little Korean guy who just opened up a frozen yogurt powder factory just up the street from my apartment.  Let me just say, he's nice, but he's disorganized.  The power got shut off because the facility was still running on the previous account (the place used to be a mattress store), so when the mattress store's power account ran out, because the guys at the electric company forgot to switch the account over to the yogurt factory, our power got shut off, and I've been out of work for over a week.  Then before that, I didn't start until two weeks after I was hired because he couldn't get the mixer working.  Well supposedly I'm going to start this Thursday, cross my fingers.

As far as my art life goes, I have started work on my hand drawn comic, starring Ian Van Kesley and his crazy adventures.  So there's that.  I've paused on my detective novel for now because I've hit writer's block.  I am still without a girlfriend.  I've been looking on Craigslist, but I'm just as likely to end up with the clap as I am to get murdered that way.
